Barbara B Henry Adults 1/B

We discovered the German School of Atlanta by looking under “German” in the Yellow Pages when we first moved to Atlanta in the summer of 1988.

We put our three children in class that fall, and they attended every year until they passed their “Sprach Diplom” and AP exams. Two of them continued as teaching assistants!

My first official involvement with the school was as guardian of the babies and yes, we did change diapers!

After Wolfgang Krueger left to teach full time at the then Goethe Institute, I took over his adult class, having just graduated with a degree in German and French from Georgia State University.

One of the many things I enjoy in life is teaching adults on Saturday Mornings.  And there is nothing more satisfying than moving one of the beginner students up and to see them in Robin Huff’s advance level German year after year.

German School is “My Thing” to do on a Saturday Morning!
